Quaint little coffee shop serving excellent brews! I love the quiet atmosphere. There are English menus available and the staff is friendly and ready to assist customers in placing their orders. Highly recommend their Mocha brew and Cafe au Lait.

This place is great! If you are coming here, you are getting a classic experience. The owners have been there for over 50 years. If you don’t like slowly made coffee, or simple toast meals, this place isn’t for you. If you like lovely drinks like Irish Coffee and beautifully made cappuccinos, then this is your stop just before or after your visit to Rikugien Garden, or after your work lunch. Many naysayers here giving 1 star because they showed up after hours, or because they ordered the wrong thing, or though their Toast was magically going to be some super meal, or because they tried to stay too long in a small shop that seats 6 tops and relies on rotating visitors to make money; it’s ridiculous! Please don’t ruin a shop’s reputation for trivial things; instead, give an appropriate rating! So you dislike their coffee, 2~4 stars the, not just straight to 1 star. So you couldn’t order in Japanese and got the wrong thing? 3~4 maybe and try better to learn the language, or point outside to the item with a picture… To everyone else, you’ll enjoy it here, so please have a lovely time!

🌟 A Hidden Gem with Heart and Heritage We stumbled upon this charming little coffee shop by chance, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the humble and gracious owner whose hospitality instantly set the tone for a memorable visit. We ordered coffees and toast, and watching the owner craft each cup with such precision and care was genuinely captivating. The highlight was the Hawaii Kona coffee—smooth, rich, and an absolute pleasure to drink. The ambiance is a nostalgic nod to the 1960s, with decor that feels like a time capsule in the best way. It added a unique warmth and character to the experience, making us feel both relaxed and transported. A heartfelt thank you to the owner for such a wonderful experience. This place is a true gem, and we’ll definitely be back.

Nostalgic atmosphere at Komagome. enjoyed the traditional coffee style “喫茶店”. I ordered Vienna coffee drip by siphon.

This little cafe was a delight to stumble across. My wife ordered the cappuccino and I a cafe au lait. The cappuccino came quickly in a really nice cup and adorned with cinnamon. Really cute little cafe, would stop again, perfect on the way to or after a garden visit!
