JAN 2026 Visited after lunch and was lucky to get the last counter seat. Inside was dim and quiet with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a strawberry shortcake and a dark roast Ibrahim Mocha coffee which originates from Yemen. Wait time for the coffee was about 20 minutes as each drip coffee takes five minutes or so to make but it was very interesting to watch the owner make each cup of coffee with attention and detail using retro coffee tools. The strawberry shortcake was brought out just as my coffee was ready to be served. The dark roast Ibrahim Mocha drip coffee was concentrated with a very intense depth of flavor and a noticeable sweet flavor note; it was very good, no unpleasant bitterness. It was a cup of coffee where the bold coffee flavor comes back with each sip. The strawberry shortcake was pretty tasty too; strawberries were sweet with minimal tartness, the texture of the sponge was good and the fresh cream was plentiful. Would be even better if the shortcake had a bit more strawberry. Overall it was a nice retro coffee shop with friendly service, and a good selection of cakes to pair with a carefully crafted cup of coffee.
View on GoogleQuiet place with jazz music. The owner asked us to not talk very loud which we thought was interesting but worth the drinks and cake. Coffee took the longest but tasted great. Milk tea was made from scratch. Strawberry cake was the best.
View on GoogleA phantom coffee shop, "Ties" The shops is open only on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so it was not easy to find it. ・Original(¥750) ・Kuluride(¥500) Order the following Sharp bitterness and sweetness that comes afterwards. The coffee shop was beyond my imagination. The cake is also elegant and carefully flavoured. It goes perfectly with the bitter coffee. You can really enjoy a good cup of coffee. This is a great place for coffee lovers to visit.
View on GoogleI really like the ambience of this place; it smells really nicely of coffee and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The strawberry cake was really nice. Unfortunately they don’t do take out for their drinks, which makes sense as it’s freshly brewed. Really tasty
View on GoogleDon’t go if you don’t have all the time in the world. I sat there for 30 minutes circa and my coffee was not even in the dripping queue....If it takes such ridiculous amount of time for one order, the shop should let people know before they enter. And they don’t have to-go cups. Felt my time wasted. Shop staff, especially the one who’s dripping all the coffee, was pretty arrogant and unpleasant. And the cake tastes ordinary. Not worth the hype. meh
