I got the vegetable gyoza, which was very salty. Each dumpling was pretty big, so although the portion on the menu said 8 and I only got 6 it was still a lot. The cold sesame chicken is decent. Portions are decent. Prices seemed inconsistent. Does not accept suica. Service and environment all fine.

I found myself craving gyoza, but I always have a real challenge to find some vegetarian options. Decided to try Tenka Gyoza-bou Hongo and in the end, ended up quite content with food, but no so much with other aspects; the waiter was actually a bit boorish even though I spoke Japanese, and the interior, while spacious, was rather bare. Then again, the gyoza was really good, so I left satisfied.

Had a gyoza 🥟 lunch on Saturday @ 12. There were many solo diners, and the interior was clean and tidy. There are also plenty of tables for 4. Since the place is famous for gyoza, I chose 炸醤麺 with gyoza. I was happy they had 炸醤麺, too. The 炸醤麺 isn't Korean or Shanghai style, but Morioka jajamen. It has minced chicken flavored with tianmianjiang and thin egg noodles (the same noodles used for hiyashi chuka). This seems to be a neighborhood Chinese restaurant leaning toward Japanese tastes. The menu has plenty of individual dishes, noodles, and rice dishes that Japanese customers would like. The sets with 4 gyoza 🥟 are welcome, too. The black pork gyoza seems popular, but I had the standard vegetable gyoza, which was delicious. Prices average ¥1000 and are affordable, so lunch with 4 people would be nice for sharing. The food also comes out right after ordering—a great restaurant.

My first visit for lunch. They apparently had a reservation, so I could only stay about 30 minutes, but that was no problem at all, so I sat down. It was full, perhaps because it's popular. I'd heard the black pork gyoza was popular, so I ordered the ramen and black pork gyoza set. The black pork gyoza are large—too big for one bite—with generous, meaty filling, and they're delicious. The ramen is ordinary, as you can see in the photo. Perhaps they were busy, but it arrived with everything arranged to one side. It looked bad. (lol) The soup spoon balances it out.
