Food was good. I prefer the tempura a bit on crunchy side but I find its still good. The tendon is 950 yen all in , 2 shrimp, 1 fish, 2 veggies with a soup. Served with cold tea but it's from bottles not fresh brew.

I visited a little before noon on a weekday. There were two other groups inside. Intrigued by its rarity, I ordered the “horse mackerel tendon” with “large rice.” It had 3 pieces of freshly fried horse mackerel, and the vegetable tempura I thought was lotus root turned out to be daikon. It was my first time having daikon tempura; it was subtly sweet and very delicious. I'm impressed that such a generous portion costs under 1000円. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the meal! Please note that payment is cash only.

Piping-hot tendon fried crisp by the refreshingly straightforward proprietress, a true Edo type, with fragrant sesame oil rising from a copper pot that's rare these days. The reasonably priced premium tendon is popular, but I love the horse mackerel tendon topped with three plump pieces😍 A hidden gem for weekday lunch🍴👏

They're open by 11時, which is helpful when you want an early lunch. The horse mackerel tendon has 3 small but thick pieces of fish, making it satisfying. For a balance of vegetables & fish, choose the lunch tendon. No idea why the little pickle plate was a decorated 「築地たま寿司」 plate….

It's nice to get tendon at a good price, but it was more like batter-heavy fritters than tempura. Despite advertising themselves as tempura specialists, the shrimp were watery, and the small pieces of bitter melon and daikon were novel choices. The miso soup came in an awkward amount, about half a bowl. Even before the meal, the toilet and washbasin looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while, which was very unpleasant before eating.
