At 11 on Saturday, I could sit down right away, but customers kept arriving. The rice bowl and miso soup were all delicious. The small side dish was so good I even drank its sauce. The interior was clean too, and there were lots of menu options.

I had the 昼得（Ｂ） set, upgrading to a large pork soup😊 Three popular items: bonito, fried shrimp, and fried chicken. Generous portions and delicious!! Pork soup is the best on cold days. I had the 昼得（Ａ） set😊 Three popular items: bonito tataki, fried horse mackerel, and fried chicken. My friend was also very satisfied and said it was delicious!! I had 『穴子一本天重　ダブル盛り』😊 ２ large conger eels, eggplant, and ２ pieces of pumpkin. Very satisfied!!! Lunch, the daily set meal 『黄金あじ煮付け』😊 It filled me up!! I had the daily set meal😊 The 『watermelon🍉』 after the meal was incredibly sweet and delicious!! The 昼得 set （tuna, fried horse mackerel, fried chicken）, with the rice changed to seasoned rice😊 I was full, but really wanted some, so I had 『corn🌽』 too!! Sweet and very satisfying. Lunch 『油淋鶏』, changed to seasoned rice and fish-bone soup😊 Fantastic seasoning!! A generous, nutritious portion. Lunch 『特大!!にしんの姿焼定食』 and a mini fresh vegetable salad à la carte😊 Perfectly grilled and plump!! Lunch, daily set meal 『もんごうイカフライ』, changed to bamboo shoot rice, with a small à la carte chicken and daikon simmered in salted broth😊 Tender cuttlefish, bamboo shoot rice, chicken and daikon, and generous portions!! Lunch, daily set meal 『赤魚塩焼』, upgraded to large pork soup😊 Fluffy redfish, perfectly grilled!! Lunch, daily set meal 『ぶりのっけ丼』, upgraded to large pork soup😊 The pork soup is incredibly delicious!! Lunch, daily set meal 『生姜焼き』, changed to large pork soup and seasoned rice with hijiki and corn😊 Lunch, daily set meal 『アジフライ』, upgraded to large pork soup😊 Plump horse mackerel with crispy breading. Fantastic with lemon and mustard!! Lunch, daily set meal 『若鶏揚げおろし』, upgraded to large pork soup😊 Lots of grated daikon and green onions on top. Full!! Full!! Lunch 『豚生姜焼き定食』, upgraded to large pork soup😊 Tender, soft pork🐷♪ with a fantastic sweetish sauce!! I mixed it with coarsely shredded cabbage and mayonnaise. Lunch, daily set meal 『Ａ若鶏唐揚げ＆カニコロ＆豚汁』, upgraded to large pork soup😊 Very satisfied, and I want to try all sorts of menu items!! Lunch 『まかない天丼』 and large pork soup😊 Generous portions!! Shrimp🦐２, squid🦑, eggplant🍆, sweet potato🍠, okra? Very tender, sweet, and delicious!! The pork soup was full of ingredients too: daikon, carrots, burdock, pork, tofu, shirataki, and green onions filled the bowl. I'm full, thank you!!

I've found another absolute gem of a restaurant. Went before noon but waited 15 minutes outside. There were lots of menu items written outside, so I took my time and decided on set A. But once I was shown to my seat, I lost myself in the sheer number of handwritten menus covering the interior. No time to stand there gaping, so I ordered the set A I'd already decided on: fried horse mackerel, fried chicken, and bonito tataki. Wow! You could eat lunch and dinner here and enjoy rotating through the menu for half a year! There really are so many dishes. Everyone, please be careful with the fried horse mackerel. It's freshly fried, so you'll burn the roof of your mouth. Same with the fried chicken. It's great that it's not made ahead! I ate it while huffing and puffing to cool it down. And the hijiki was quietly delicious too. I almost want to move near this restaurant. They seem to have local sake from Tohoku too, so I'd love to come for drinks～☺️ Really recommended! Actually, hugely recommended! Seriously, if you come to Bunkyo, please make sure to stop by～.
