A cash only cozy establishment serving small tapas, oden, and alcohol. It's a little tucked away from the main street where the customers are mostly regulars from the local area. It was amazing interacting with the regulars there, even in my broken Japanese! Loved the Ochazuke and Somen. They were super flavourful and authentically made. However, expect a longer wait time for food due to a small staff size.

Fantastic oden and fried chicken. I am a tourist who only speaks English so there was a little trouble communicating and we ended up using Google translate but there was nothing but kindness and hospitality the whole time I was eating there. Very lovely place right next to the station and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

It seems they currently open around 18:00. I made a reservation and arrived at 18:00, but they were still getting ready to open, and it was cold inside…. There’s a wide variety of oden and snacks, and the place has character. The kind owner runs it alone, so let’s be considerate of one another while visiting. It was a shame that only the shumai roll had a slightly strange taste….
