Nothing to scream about though reviews by others were good. I find the ginger flavour in the soup is not strong enough and the soup was lukewarm when it was served to me. I was expecting it to be hot if not piping hot. The ramen itself was not good too but the chicken chausiew (it is actually teriyaki chicken) was great. All seats, about 9, are at counter. Ordering is simple as it is ordered via the jukebox except that they are all in Japanese. Thanks to Google Translator. With a visit if you are nearby but not something you must definitely try.
View on GoogleCame on Saturday during lunchtime. Customers at that time were women (few men), couples, or family with children. I ordered the shoyu (soy sauce) tsukemen. The noodles look like pasta, the meat is chicken only, and the soup is a mild ginger soup (unless you accidentally bite into a ginger piece). There was jelly on the noodle (I didn’t understand its taste), but putting it in the soup is a no-brainer. The food was unique but not bad. Plus, they have a free coffee service for take out/away (you’ll have to ask the staff for a cup). The coffee didn’t really taste that great, but it’s ok for those who prefer to drink something warm (& not the usual ice cold water) after eating ramen.
View on GoogleI think maybe my choice wasn't the best. I mean it's just standard taste. The chicken topping was good though...
View on GoogleI went to this location and got the Shio ramen. After four years of being in Japan, I have to say this is probably my favorite bowl of ramen. The ginger is very present and the chashu is first class. Other chashus often like an afterthought to everything else, but not here. If you even remotely like ginger, I would stop in and try the Shoyu and/or Shio.
View on GoogleSimply the best ramen I've had. From chasu, broth and the noodles. I will be back soon.
