A neighborhood Chinese restaurant in a convenient location, a 2–3-minute walk south of Hakusan Station on the Toei Subway Mita Line. Lunch is especially good value. I had today's lunch B Curry-flavored stir-fried potatoes and bean sprouts (with rice, soup, and salad) 700円 Gyoza (5 pieces) 600円 The lunch stir-fry combined Chinese-style seasoning with curry flavor, making it a dish that really gets you eating rice. The gyoza were generously filled, with relatively thick wrappers and a substantial size. Delicious. All the seating is at tables, and it's comfortable. The staff work briskly, giving it the quintessential neighborhood Chinese restaurant feel. As more customers arrived, they were shown upstairs, so the 2nd floor seems to be available too.

【A thoroughly proper Chinese restaurant】 I ordered the good-value lunch set of curry-fried pork loin. The neighborhood retirees are already having drinks at lunchtime too. The light curry-fried pork and light umani braise go nicely together. Maybe I'll try gomoku soba next time.

Cheap and delicious. I even finished the stir-fry sauce. The tea might be jasmine tea. There are 2 lunch sets at 700円 each, unbelievably cheap these days. Many people around me ordered the half fried rice + half ramen set for 950円. Dinner sets are 800円. Other items seem to cost the same at night. I'd like to return. The 1st floor has 6~7 tables seating 4. There's a 2nd floor too. paypay payments accepted. @2026/1

When it comes to restaurants loved by locals for good food in Hakusan, I feel that these days only the yakiniku restaurant Korakuen and this Shin Sanyo remain. Their signature Sapporo ramen and miso ramen are delicious, of course, but I especially recommend the chashu wonton noodles and the vinegary tenshindon. The owner is the 2nd generation and is incredibly sincere and hardworking. Several Chinese restaurants have also been started by people who trained here.

【A neighborhood Chinese restaurant at the bottom of the hill】A neighborhood Chinese restaurant loved by locals. It may not be extraordinarily delicious, but it's nostalgic, easy to enjoy casually, and has a flavor you sometimes crave—the kind of place you're happy to have nearby. There are handwritten menus on the walls and a few somewhat slapdash touches, but places and service like this used to be common. The prices also felt relatively unchanged from the old days (not raised). Food takes quite a while to arrive. 【Seasonal oyster salt ramen ¥1000】 Simple salt ramen topped with 3 oysters fried without batter. The soup is ordinary salt ramen soup. 【Fried rice ¥800】 Fried rice with a simple, quietly comforting flavor. Perhaps a slightly generous portion. 【Shumai ¥600】 They seem popular. Large, but the flavor is ordinary. Still, few places serve shumai these days, so I end up ordering them whenever I see them. 【Today's set meal mapo harusame ¥800】 Non-spicy mapo harusame with savory meat flavor. It was delicious. Not exceptionally delicious, but somewhere I'd probably visit occasionally if it were nearby. Thanks for the mealー
