The pork trotters were cheap and delicious! Great value for money and taste.

Chinese restaurant. Nothing too much to add to this. The food was good, acceptable price for a lunch to make you full 850 - 1200y. But the decor was a little bit run down.

Around 3.5 ☆, I guess. A well-worn Chinese restaurant on the main road going down from Todai-mae to Hongo-sanchome Station. Student areas usually have lots of cheap places with big portions, but when I went in expecting that, it turned out to be a place for middle-aged office workers. For lunch I ordered hoikoro, but it came as more of a stir-fry in thick sauce with wood ear mushrooms, and the portion was huge. Lots of people were ordering chinjao rosu too. It feels like something between an old-looking machi-chuka and authentic Chinese food. The ☆4 is a bonus for the hearty portions.

It's not clean, but it's good value and tasty. For a while lunch was 850 yen, but they've lowered it to 800 yen!! I especially recommend the fried rice. The chashu is tender and the rice is nice and fluffy-separate. Oil and salt are on the strong side When you order the mini ramen, it actually comes topped with chashu and vegetables, which makes me happy. It's tough if you're a neat freak, but I think it's a decent place.

Not a place I can recommend for people looking for good service or cleanliness. I always ordered the laziji set meal, but lately it seems to have been changed for the worse and the taste has dropped. That said, the grilled pork trotters are an incredible deal at 280 yen. I don't know if they've raised the price by now
