A favorite place I have been visiting for several years. The miso ramen is as consistently delicious as ever. There is something reassuring about how they keep serving that “Yes, this is it!” flavor without chasing trends unnecessarily. And the lunchtime-only chashu rice costs just an extra 150円. Keeping that price in this era of rising costs takes Hulk-level mental strength. Easy on the wallet and filling too. This time I tried the chilled ramen I had long been curious about. The hearty, chewy noodles were delicious, but personally, warm miso ramen still wins. In the end, I was reminded that “the usual” is best. A line forms outside at lunchtime, which can be a little intimidating. But often those people are buying bento, and there may actually be seats available inside. Before giving up and going home, I recommend gathering your courage and asking, “Can I come in to eat inside?” A bowl I will surely keep coming back for.

My ramen arrived at the same time as that of a customer who came in about 10 minutes after me. I had been kept waiting for about 20 minutes after ordering, so it seems they do not start making it as soon as they take the order. The cabbage in the ramen was tough, especially the core, which I could not chew at all.
