It’s a ramen store that only opens on weekday lunch time so a bit difficult for people who goes to an office for work. It’s a bonito flavored basic ramen without a trick. It might be boring for the people who want something new but it’s for the people who want the same old descent ramen.
View on GoogleThe soup is rich in taste, also not so salty comparing to other Japanese ramen. I tried 助六ラーメン(sukeroku) which have spicy soy bean paste on top. The paste goes smooth with the soup, the spicy give life to the meal. Worth a try.
View on GoogleA 5-minute walk from 本郷三丁目駅, this ramen is made by a noodle manufacturer. 【Points】 ①Inside, there's counter seating only. I think around 10 people would fill it. ②The menu is as shown in the photo. I recommend 助六麵. The spicy miso blends with the soup and tastes delicious. The dried-fish stock comes through very strongly. ③Large noodle portions are free. Even a large portion is a manageable amount. The prices are also low for 本郷三丁目. ④Service is very fast. Even with a wait, I think it would be around 5–10 minutes. Recommended when you want a quick meal.
View on GoogleThis area is a fair distance from any station. It doesn't seem to have lots of offices or anything, but there are plenty of restaurants. This one seems relatively busy among them. A small place with only about 10 counter seats. As soon as you enter, there's a notice about a price increase. Looking at the menu, the prices do seem slightly higher than the information I'd checked beforehand. Well, I suppose it can't be helped with rising ingredient costs. I had つけ麺800円, 味付け玉子100円, and 炊き込みご飯150円. By the way, large noodle portions are free, but they won't ask unless you bring it up yourself. A ramen spoon isn't provided either, but they'll give you one if you ask. The bowl arrived in about 5 minutes. These are Chinese-style noodles for regular ramen rather than tsukemen. In fact, I was the only one ordering tsukemen. The seasoned egg made a good effort, but I wished it were a little softer in the middle. The 炊き込みご飯 was delicious.
View on GoogleFirst visit to the ramen shop 助六, which I'd been curious about for a while. R7.2. weekday, arrived at 11:30. 0 customers before me, 5 after. The interior has counter seating only, and was bright, thoroughly cleaned, and felt hygienic. The staff consisted of 1 man and 2 women. The woman serving the dining area was pleasant. I verbally ordered 助六麺800円 (cash payment afterward). They told me a large noodle portion was free when ordering, but I asked for regular. Served after about 5 minutes. The noodles were cooked just right, well balanced with the soup, and the spicy miso had the right heat. A perfectly tasty meal. Thank you for the food. When I left at 11:45, there were 5 customers inside. The opening hours are short, but it was an inexpensive, tasty ramen shop.
