This has been my favorite lunch spot lately. First visit うま煮定食 & 3 gyoza The vegetables in the umani were so crisp. I was impressed by the perfect cooking and neat cutting. For a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, the care really showed. And the gyoza were delicious! So meaty, with juicy meat juices arriving after the crisp, crunchy, chewy texture of the wrapper. 2nd visit 冷やし中華 & 3 gyoza The hiyashi chuka toppings were cut into strips. The nicely chilled, springy Chinese noodles came with plenty of toppings and broth. Remembering the previous gyoza, I ordered those too. The hiyashi chuka broth was the classic soy sauce and sweet vinegar type. 3rd visit カツ丼 People around me had ordered it last time, so I got curious and looked it up. Apparently it was featured on モヤさま or something, and was said to be on the sweet side. I went in with high hopes, thinking the seasoning would be to my taste, and sure enough, it was sweet with plenty of sauce! I think it'll be a hit with people who like sweeter seasoning. I have a sensitive stomach, so I don't eat katsudon much, but theirs is sooo good. It doesn't sit heavily. The cutlet itself was a standard pork loin cutlet, but the sweet seasoning was exactly my taste, and the onion was thinly sliced. I thought it was just too delicious. The miso soup had a distinctive flavor; perhaps the stock was Chinese soup stock. But it was delicious. It's a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but overall the food isn't greasy and doesn't sit heavily. I wonder if they use fresh oil... I still haven't tried the wonton noodles and gomoku fried rice, so I'll be back. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for the always delicious food.

Always reliably delicious whenever I visit, just what you'd expect from a long-established place that's been around for 50 years! The chashu is superb: thickly cut yet without any unpleasant smell, moist and delicately flavored. The ramen's clear, sparkling broth is wonderfully delicious too! How should I put it... yes! “Beautiful ramen.

①Nearest station 4 minutes on foot (350m) toward Hakusan from exit A5 of Kasuga subway station The restaurant is on the building's 1st floor, so it may be a little hard to find ②Crowds Sometimes you can't get in at lunch. ③Atmosphere Counter and table seating available ④Payment information PayPay accepted ⑤Smoking information None ⑥Comments Working during the holiday period With a 4-day break starting tomorrow, the train was quiet from the morning I visited this place, which had a line outside on Wednesday, and there was no line, so it looked like I could get straight in I went inside and sat at a table for 2 I ordered my favorite, 『うまにそば』 It really must not have been busy, because after about 3 minutes, the ramen arrived うまにそば topped with a thick sauce full of vegetables There was plenty of shrimp and pork too, and the thick sauce was piping hot, so be careful when eating うまにそば is exactly 1,000円. Thank you for the meal. [うまにそば] 【Features】 うまにそば with a delicious vegetable-packed thick sauce It also has seafood, is piping hot, and comes in a generous portion 【Noodles】 The noodles are thin and hold the broth well. 【Toppings】 Thick vegetable sauce with shrimp and squid 【Free condiments】 Pepper, chili oil, soy sauce, vinegar 【Comments】 The thick sauce keeps the broth from cooling Perfect for cold weather. The broth is soy sauce-based There's plenty of broth too, and it's extremely hot, so be careful when eating #KasugaRamen #RamenDiary #NeighborhoodChinese #ShitamachiCharm #CasualShitamachiAtmosphere #PopularLunchExpectAQueue

A Japanese-run neighborhood Chinese restaurant founded in 1967 that temporarily closed, then moved and reopened at its current location Typical neighborhood Chinese restaurants can be so worn with age that some areas are unhygienic, which puts me off, but this place is brightly lit with a white color scheme, so there's no need to worry and it makes a good impression. I ordered 【玉子チャーハン】800円 First came soup and pickles. Taking a sip, I thought, “Is it light? I'm not sure what it is, but the seasoning is delicious and unlike anything I've had before” The fried rice looks white and slightly small in portion, with naruto, chunky chashu, and eggs with many pieces left unbroken. It uses flavor enhancers like typical neighborhood Chinese places, so the flavor is similar, but there's a slight sweetness. The rice is fried to somewhere between separate grains and slightly sticky, nicely balanced with the ingredients and delicious. As you keep eating, fried rice with lots of flavor enhancers can become tiresome, but the pickles provide a refreshing contrast and solve that. ●It won't make you say, “What is this flavor?” like 兆徳, but I can recommend it. Ordering it alone is fine, but combinations such as half fried rice + 3 gyoza are also recommended Perhaps because of the location, prices per dish are 150円 to 200円 higher than in shitamachi

It's on the 1st floor of a building along Yanagimachi Nakadori between Hakusan-dori and Senkawa-dori, completely out of sight from the street, and seems to be a regular spot for nearby office workers. There's a モヤさま sticker at the entrance, and it certainly feels like somewhere モヤさま would visit. There are 5 counter seats and 6 tables for 2. Despite its small size, it has 5 staff: 2 in the kitchen and 3 handling the dining room and other duties. The clean interior makes a good impression. I ordered tanmen for 850円: thin noodles with cabbage, Chinese cabbage, carrot, garlic chives, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, snow peas, and pork. The slightly sweet noodles, refined broth unlike typical neighborhood Chinese food, and the thoughtfulness of warming the bowl before serving were all very good. By the way, Wi-Fi is available too.
