Don't let the outside fool you, this Tonkotsu & Miso Ramen is fantastic especially the Red Soba, very spicy! Fried rice is also good to be submitted in the Ramen soup!
View on GoogleThe moment I ordered the miso ramen (700 yen), I heard a "click" sound and smoke started drifting from next to me. Huh? Is smoking allowed in this shop? It's not an izakaya, not a set-meal restaurant, but a pure ramen specialty shop? Since there is an ashtray on the table, I guess it's that kind of shop. At this point, I regretted coming in. And then, the miso ramen. It is topped with white scallions, a token amount of char siu, bean sprouts, seaweed, and bamboo shoots. The noodles are yellow curly noodles. The soup is quite normal. As a miso ramen for 700 yen, it passes. The only regrettable thing about this shop is that smoking is allowed.
View on GoogleLocated near Kasuga Station, this is a thick, authentic "Ramen Shop" style ramen despite being in the middle of the city. The taste is hard to define, but for some reason, it feels delicious, that Ramen Shop style soup. I thought that if it's this type of ramen, the scallions should be delicious, so I ordered the scallion ramen and it was the right choice. It's "that" taste. There is value in being able to eat "that kind of taste" without going by car. Next time, it's the scallion char siu bowl.
View on GoogleThe shop's location is less than a 3-minute walk from Kasuga Station near Tokyo Dome. They say there's a famous shop there, but I didn't care at all. Haha This is the so-called "shop style" that once swept the ramen industry, but I get the impression that only shops that operate seriously remain. But! Even though the era has passed through "Showa" to "Reiwa", there was a shop style that is like a cultural heritage. The photo I attached was "Scallion Ramen Medium", but the "winning" taste I used to eat somewhere back in the day was still there... Even in the midst of a boom, it's a harsh world where shops that cut corners are abandoned by customers and go out of business. The shop is damaged in some places (haha), but I am grateful that they are still operating today, a meeting to be thankful for.
View on GoogleI went in without much expectation, and it was a miso ramen with a rich flavor that was quite good. It matches white rice.
