When we ordered several dishes, they divided each in half and arranged an individual serving for each of us. I'd grown tired of Tokyo drinking spots mostly serving sashimi or yakitori, so I really appreciated this kind of food.

It felt like a good restaurant frequented by Tokyo locals rather than travelers. The other restaurants nearby were so crowded with tourists that we visited this place without planning to, and the food was very clean-tasting and delicious. We had dinner and a beer each and ate our fill. I'm not certain, but the menu seems to change a little every day. There was no English menu, but we could order perfectly well using a translator. Overall, it was really quite a good restaurant :)

In 御徒町, the food made by the proprietress who loves cooking is comforting. I enjoyed dishes tailored to their ingredients, along with drinks♪

おばんざい心 1 minute from 湯島 Station. 「おばんざい心（しん）」 is a Japanese food tavern run by a beautiful young proprietress. Imagine a slightly livelier version of 「花の里」 from 相棒. It was featured on the 6/1 episode of 夕焼け酒場 (starring きたろう). It's a relaxing place where you can chat easily with neighboring customers, and I quite like it. The obanzai and drinks harmonize beautifully, and the drinks keep flowing. It was delicious. Completely satisfied. (Visited August 21, 2024)
