Great food, great pruces. Card payments accepted. Owner does not speak English, so for non-japanese speakers I recommend taking photos of food on the display as menu doesnt have pictures and is only Japanese

For some reason I had put this restaurant on my list of places to visit, and since I was nearby, I tried it. This is curry nanban soba. The food arrived quickly. There was no sweetness, just a salty taste. The soba was thin and kept breaking apart. It probably depends on the staff member, and I do not think they mean any harm, but some come across a little brusque, which may explain reviews saying the service is unfriendly. What disappointed me was the lack of paper napkins or hand towels. PayPay was accepted. I probably will not be back.

I visited in the early evening! I had the juwari ten seiro (2000 yen)! The soba was chewy, and the dipping sauce was very delicious too! Personally, the tempura dipping sauce was exactly my taste, and I drank it all, haha. It is on the sweet side. Since it is in an office district, perhaps it gets crowded at lunch? It is a hidden gem in the evening, so do go try it!

I visited around 13:15 on a weekday. The restaurant was busy, and they seated me after mentioning that I might have to share a table for 6. There was no menu on the table, so I asked when they brought the tea and was told it was under the table. Hard to find. Opening the menu revealed only text and no photos at all, again making it hard to understand. With little choice, I asked for the lunch menu, which was a curry rice and noodle set, so I requested cold soba. After a while they came to confirm, “Was mori soba all right?” But when I asked if there were any other cold soba options, they replied that mori soba was the only one. Honestly, I have no idea what they came to confirm. When the food arrived, I tried the curry rice, but the onions were so crunchy it seemed they had just been added! The soba itself had no aroma, and the dipping sauce was too strong, so both tasted disappointing. I will not return.
