Amazing restaurant, owners were so kind and helpful to try order our food through English. The customers in the restaurant were also helpful to order our food. 100% authentic and cultural experience. The pictures on Google reviews helped us to order. The menu is wrote on the wall in Japanese. They have a menu of just pictures you can order from. Definitely go to this restaurant food was amazing tasting. I loved the gyoza and noodle dish. Curry sauce in Katzu curry was 10/10 Cheap prices too

A Nagasaki-style Chinese izakaya in an alley a short walk from Iidabashi Station toward Korakuen. From outside it looks like a cluttered izakaya, giving the impression that it takes courage to enter, but quite a few female customers kept going in, which suggested a reassuring place. Inside were several tables where sharing seats was unavoidable, and it seemed to be run by an experienced proprietress. The walls are covered with so many noodle dishes, set meals, and individual dishes that it is hard to choose, but considering the restaurant's concept, I ordered 【Small champon】850 yen and it arrived in about 5 minutes. Medium-thick noodles sit in a cloudy white soup, topped with cooked pork, bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, kamaboko, chikuwa, and other ingredients. The soup is delicious, with the umami and sweetness of vegetables blended into a base rich in seafood and pork flavor. It clings well to the fairly thick noodles, allowing me to enjoy that distinctive champon taste. However, I felt it lacked a little richness, so midway through I added sauce Nagasaki-style to change the flavor. The sauce's sweetness, acidity, and depth seemed to balance it somewhat. Many other customers were ordering set meals, and everyone seemed to have a favorite. I had originally avoided it because I thought smoking was allowed, but was relieved to see no ashtrays on the tables. Just as I thought that, the proprietress started smoking alone at the back of the customer seating area, and I understood that this must be what the rules were for. I would like to go back to enjoy some different dishes.

I visited for dinner on a regular Monday. You order by writing down what you want with a marker from the menus covering the walls. I had “ankake ramen” and a “half yakiniku rice bowl.” Both were delicious. It is a very distinctive restaurant, so I think first-time visitors will find it exciting. Thank you for the meal! PayPay was accepted.

Lunch while in Iidabashi for work The restaurant was dirty, but I went in thinking it might be a hidden gem? Only a table for 2 was available, so I sat down, and an elderly lady said, “Young man! You're alone, right!? Come here and sit at the back!” The back?? There are no seats back there?? As I was wondering, she seated me in a messy spot that looked like somewhere staff take breaks or work, with barely any space to put food And the seat had a foul smell like laundry that had not dried properly Well, it could not be helped, so I put up with it… as long as the food was good I ordered the small sara udon and half fried rice set I still had some hope until the food arrived, but was stunned when I saw it Extremely dry fried rice with only egg in it, tasting of nothing but salt Even more surprising was the sara udon The sauce had a nice thickness, but the ingredients… Despite calling it Nagasaki sara udon, there was no seafood or meat Only vegetables and kamaboko, and the noodles were limp from moisture and tasted slightly oxidized There was no umami at all in the sauce either, just salt and pepper, and even adding soy sauce did not make it easy to eat I feel very sorry toward the elderly man working hard to cook and the lady struggling to manage a full restaurant, but this was among the 1 or 2 worst sara udon and fried rice meals of my life Some of the other dishes coming out looked good, so perhaps certain items are tasty But if the champon and sara udon featured so prominently in the restaurant's name are like this, it is unacceptable Fundamentally it feels like they only care about packing people in and increasing turnover; I cannot see any desire to have customers enjoy delicious food and leave satisfied I will never return

We visited with 8 colleagues. When invited, I went in surprised: “All-you-can-eat and drink for 3 hours for 3,300 yen!?” A colleague who visits regularly had actually given the restaurant a preprinted order list in large type beforehand, and that preparation impressed me right away. Normally, it seems you write your own orders on paper placed on the table and hand it over, but since you can order as much as you like from the menus covering the walls, choosing really is difficult. The drinks are a little unusual: plastic bottles of whisky, shochu, tea, and sparkling water are placed on the table, and you get ice and mix your own drinks. You can also get beer by the pitcher. These plastic bottles are shared with customers at other tables. Every dish felt nostalgic yet had a deliciousness that is hard to experience at home. Each plate showed care. And the champon made by the owner from Nagasaki is a must! You really taste the authentic flavor. However, since it is a one-person operation, dishes arrive slowly. The fact that not everything ordered necessarily appears is part of the charm here. A true insider's spot where you can relax and enjoy delicious food and drinks without watching the clock. I was satisfied enough to know I will definitely return.
