Seems to be a popular lunch option for workers in the area. 1000 yen for a lunch set. Apparently you should be fast, eat and not chat too much. Their services are equally efficient. The fish set I found to be a bit too small for me for lunch. Maybe I just need to get adjusted to the portion sizes here.

Don't believe the bad reviews. This is a fantastic place. It was my favorite food place in tokyo when I was there. Nothing super special but that's what we want for lunch right? The reviews complain about a time limit but isn't that reasonable for such a small place? To me this is a 5

It was okay. The cutlassfish was just a bit small.

Good food and atmosphere. Sometimes, it gets too busy and runs out of food. Perfect place to take groups for a slightly early lunch. Be warned that all menus are in Japanese, and while staff understand English, this is principally an authentic Japanese place that is all in Japanese.

The ambiance and foods (fish) compliments each other. Although the staff's do not speak English but they are very friendly and polite. This is a common place for students as well as professors from Todai. So, if you are from Todai then you might often see your professors here during lunch hours 😅.
