Nagoya style Udon noodle place. It’s pretty rare to see in Tokyo. It uses red miso paste which has rich bitter flavor than the normal miso. Noodle suppose to be super tough but this store localized and it was easier to eat. It will be interesting to go if you want something new on your list.
View on GoogleFind this udon restaurant by chance while walking around. Really enjoyed udon here. I believe the miso udon is the main dish here. It tasted real good and even medicinal. Highly recommended.
View on GoogleThe food was very unique, the miso has a slightly bitter taste to it. The interior of the restaurant is tasteful and well designed. Service was impeccable, they let me in without a reservation even though they had a reservation for a larger party coming in. Will return!
View on GoogleIf there is a food that penetrates all the way to your soul and feeds it, than Misonikomin is the dish. I got introduced to the place by a colleague from Nagoya who was telling me how proud she was of this special udon from her hometown two years ago and now I am regular that for some strange reason feels that I was born eating this dish, though I haven’t been born and raised in Japan. That’s how inimitable and addictive the taste and the atmosphere in this place is.
View on GoogleMaybe the best udon I have ever had. Staff are super lovely and welcoming, atmosphere is small, warm, and inviting. Feel no shame in wearing the offered bib, it seemed like all the locals were doing it!
