Best hakata ramen near Hongo. You can have unlimited extra noodles at 200 yen.
View on GooglePersonally, I really love it. Delicious!! And the broth is additive-free. I added nori and mentaiko toppings. Forgot to take a photo. lol The boiled dumplings are delicious too. The service is also very good. A homey atmosphere. Thanks for the meal. I'll visit again.
View on GoogleOrdered 福十八らーめん Apparently unlimited noodle refills cost 200円. (One portion is 100円) The broth was clean, you could say; it didn't feel oily But it was addictively delicious. The vegetables were tasty too Noodle refills arrive in no time. There's ramen seasoning sauce for the refills Makes me want to come back
View on GoogleI'm not fond of tonkotsu ramen, but the ramen here has no strong funky flavor and is very easy to enjoy & super delicious. Being able to choose the amount of backfat and broth strength and customize it as you like is a big plus! The noodles are thin and egg-yellow. There are plenty of other menu items too, so it seems you can also use it as an izakaya. But even if you casually stop in just for ramen, they welcome you warmly.
View on GoogleI ordered the shop's namesake 福十八ラーメン. A light, or rather thin, tonkotsu broth. The noodles are thin, with a choice of firmness. It seems to have more chashu and vegetables than the regular ramen. Plenty of alcohol and snacks. Probably an izakaya targeting drinkers under the sign of a ramen shop. It seems you can keep a bottle of shochu there too. Since it's ramen to finish a drinking session, the lightly flavored broth made sense.
