I happened to stumble upon this while walking through and I’m so happy I did. While unassuming from the outside, it’s a charming little cafe located in a repurposed sento (or public bathhouse). The decor incorporates a lot of fixtures from the original bathhouse such as faucets, baths, tiled murals, and signage with instructions on how to use the bath. Natural lighting filters in the space making for a calm atmosphere. I can only imagine that atmosphere must’ve carried over from the building’s years as a bathhouse. I ordered a Cafe Latte Float and enjoyed it on the tatami seating that covers some of the old baths. I went 30 minutes before close so there weren’t many people and it felt like just the right amount of time to enjoy the space. I hope to visit again sometime and try more of the menu items.

What an interesting concept! Really good honey latte, love the cool glassware from Switzerland. Sound does travel pretty well so it does get loud in here. 70 minute dine-in limit. Will come back to try out their matcha!

Hole in the wall matcha cafe repurposing an old bath house. The unique building and decor are the highlight of this cafe, providing a unique atmosphere. We came mid afternoon and with the sunlight streaming through the windows, the plentiful foliage and indoor flowers, and strange bath tile design inside, we felt like we were stepping into another world. Truly, this place deserves to be viral. 🍵 highly recommend the raw honey hot matcha latte.

Very nice café, it's a hidden gem. The drinks we had, cappuccino and marche latte, where delicious. To sit and enjoy your drink there is a hidden room at the back which is an old bath house. Super nice!

Matcha was great here. What makes it even more interesting is that the café used to be an old bathhouse and has been beautifully redecorated. Really enjoyed my time here the interior is lovely and cozy. Highly recommend.
