View on GoogleI visited Maisen for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. I had been curious about this shop for a while, so I entered with excitement. Visited right at opening time at 11:30. About 5 minutes after opening, the table seats (3 tables) were full. I sat at the counter seat and ordered large seiro soba (1150 yen). The soba was cooked just right and delicious. Next time I will try hot soba.
I recently attended the annual year-end party at the end of the fiscal year. The soba noodles are the best. It is so good that I want to eat three more pieces. And, what a nice end-of-year event, we get to drink a rare sake. It's a very rare sake, only available once a year at ikumi ‼️. It's aged for 3 years and has a great balance 😀. Jyushidai is still delicious 😋 beautiful 😋 sharp 😁I'm happy with just this and the entrée is great too 😀. Tempura is also delicious 😋 Shrimp, kiss and bigeye are delicious. I still love fish tempura! Happy time goes by so fast. I really appreciate the 8,500 yen participation fee for this. I am sure I will be able to finish the year safely. Thank you so much 😊. #Soba #Tempura #Sake
View on GoogleStarting with soba using rare soba flour from Hitachi-Ota, sautéed duck meat, horse sashimi, tempura, mozuku vinegar from Noto, and four types of grilled dishes, everything was carefully prepared and very delicious. The kinme fish simmered in soba broth was also good, but it was a bit too salty for me. All the sake was also precious, and the owner's explanation was fun. I want to visit again. Since I was treated, I didn't know the price.
