It caught my eye as I was passing, so I stopped in. I think it was around 17:30. There isn't a station nearby, but there seems to be a bus stop called Dogazakashita right in front. The shop is small and seems to be run by an elderly couple. This time I bought the butsugiri bowl for ¥970. The tuna wasn't fishy, and it contained chunks of lean tuna and chutoro and was delicious. The pickles on the side were just right as a palate cleanser too. Next time I think I'll try ordering regular sushi and rolls as well.

【Tabata/Komagome/Sushi/Takeaway specialist】 The nearest station is... “Tabata, perhaps?” A sushi takeaway specialist operating from a tiny shop near Komagome Hospital that's easy to miss! Perhaps it used to be a sushi restaurant (fish shop?), as I could see a refrigerated display case in the space beside the shop. There are plenty of choices: rolls, nigiri and rice bowls. Prices depend on the item, but I'd say they're a little high. The rolls are affordably priced. The nigiri and rice bowls come in different grades (like premium, standard, matsu and take). I think the range was about 500 yen to 3,500 yen. (Sorry if I've got that wrong) The fish was fresh, but the nori seemed just okay. Service was efficient and polite. Thank you for the meal Ψ( 'ч' ☆)

I've had takeaway about 3 times. I ordered by phone and specified a pickup time. Unfortunately, the premium option was sold out, so I ordered the mid-grade chirashi sushi. Everything is very fresh, and every topping is delicious. The portion and presentation are perfect. It's ideal for a little treat. The lady who runs the place is efficient and provides very good service too.

They also accommodated a change of toppings. With extra inari sushi, it came to 980 yen—very satisfying❗ I'd like to stop by again. The owner and his wife, perhaps⁉️ Please take care of yourselves.

Several decades ago, I was hospitalized in serious condition at a nearby hospital. When I was finally discharged several months later, I bought premium nigiri here to take home to my family, who had been worried about me. When I passed by the other day, I was happy to see they were still in business, so I parked and went to buy some. A woman who seemed to be the owner's wife treated me pleasantly, but from the back the owner sounded irritated and said, “Ah, I can't do any more!” I only went there to buy something, so why should I have to be snapped at? According to his wife, they had received a large order and had run out of sushi rice. She apologetically turned me away. If they can't take orders, I think they should close. But I'm glad. It saved me from buying sushi made by a chef like that. I'll never go there to buy anything again.
