Extremely nice as a free option. Somewhat small, but rarely very crowded, so I always feel free to take my time (even took a nap there once..) Very convenient finish to a walk around Koishikawa Botanical Garden (not free). English translations are lacking. A shame that it's closed Monday-Wednesday.

Historical botanic garden worth a visit. Has been a agricultural reseach garden since Edo era, with nearby small historical building opening as artistic musium.

Museum closed as of Saturday 5/18 at 12pm

It's a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, but as of March 2026, entry is prohibited.
