Tried this place out of curiosity. I was craving for some curry and soba when I saw this restaurant. It’s a relatively small place and there’s not much people when I dined. I was welcomed by a grandma who did the cooking and serving herself. Taste was okay and I like how peaceful the place was when I dined. Hefty serving at an affordable rate. Located right outside Hakusan station.

This place is absolutely wonderful. One of those really lovely places where you can get full meal for 350-650円. For my fellow foreign friends, if you want to experience a quintessential soba/udon place, this is a great place to do it! Look at the pictures outside, grab a ticket at the vending machine just inside, then hand it to a worker, clarifying if you want udon or soba. Then sit and they'll bring it to you! I got the veggie tenpura set, which had pickles, tempura over rice with sauce, and noodles in broth. Delicious. When I was there, at least, it was being run entirely by women, which made me very happy to be there. They were all very welcoming, no "ugh gaijin" vibes. 戻りたいですよ!ごちそうさまございます。

What a fantastic place this. Amazingly cheap prices for combo sets that at other restaurants would cost twice as much. It’s close to Toyo University and Hakusan Station and is a perfect place to grab a quick lunch. The ladies who work there are very friendly and make incredible food. Can’t recommend this shop enough!!

Great deals for food that warms you during autumn/winter. Friendly owner. Wish I could eat here every day
