If you want to have a taste of the izakaya style bar from the last century this is the place! It's nostalgic to be here and I thoroughly enjoyed their food and sake as well as very friendly service.

Visited around 19 on Saturday evening. It wasn't very crowded inside, and we were shown to our seats right away. The Showa-style tatami seating area has a very relaxing atmosphere. Every dish was reasonably priced, generously portioned, and delicious! The chicken liver sashimi was especially delicious, with a rich liver flavor and smooth texture✨ The assorted grilled fish collars were delicious too, with crisp skin and plenty of meat. Payment was cash only. I'll visit again!

A great place that perfectly satisfies that “I want to go to an izakaya!!” feeling. We chose a sashimi platter, mizudako octopus, cured mackerel, horse mackerel namero, oysters in vinegar, chicken liver, and fried horse mackerel. There's also plenty of sake to choose from. The chicken liver had no unpleasant smell, melted in the mouth, and went beautifully with sesame oil and green onions—it was very delicious. The sashimi and mackerel were high quality too. The oysters in vinegar were also fantastic, combining large oysters with light vinegar. My companion's favorite was the fried horse mackerel. I'd like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Visited after 18 on Thursday. I deliberately aimed for the unusual circumstances of rain (before a typhoon), so I got to enjoy the place quietly. While chatting after going in, I also realized Japan had a World Cup match the next morning. Truly unusual circumstances. Apparently, it had been very busy at this time the previous day (Wednesday). That's probably how it usually is. Sashimi platter, chicken wings, Yanaka ginger, yakisoba, beer, sake, and 2 tea-based drinks. Good flavors, good atmosphere, good service. Quite blissful. It's nearby, so I'll be back.
