The best unagi I've ever had. It is so delicious.Their most expensive unagi is very worth it. I went multiple times on the same trip to Japan.

An eel shop I didn't know about even though I've lived in Bunkyo-ku for a long time. It is written on the noren that it was founded in the 18th year of Meiji. Walk a little from Hongo-sanchome towards Yushima. After beer with grilled liver and cold tomatoes, special unaju. 3,960 yen for special is reasonable these days. The sauce is a bit light and very much to my taste. A good shop that is loved where people who seem to be locals eat in the shop or stop by for take-out. Japanese sake also has a pretty good selection, such as Shimeharitsuru, Denshu, Kudokijozu.

I visited after coming from a nearby hospital. The most expensive one was the special unaju for four thousand two hundred yen, so I ordered that. For the price, it was delicious and I liked it. I want to come again.

An old shop founded 130 years ago It's close to the station and I think it's easy to go. I went by car but there are many coin parkings so it's no problem. I ate unaju, but it's good because you can eat high-quality eel at a low price (under 3000 yen). I'm also happy because sauce is provided so you can add it to your liking. The nukazuke that comes out as pickles was also delicious.

There is an old shop feel and the atmosphere is good! About the eel that matters, 1 eel becomes unaju. If you look only at the price it is cheap, but actually it is the smallest I have ever seen. If you want to get satisfaction, special might be good. It's light. The texture is almost like steamed eel and I personally like it. Liver soup was delicious. There are quite a few small bones so please be careful. I got it stuck in my throat 😅 The production is domestic and it seems there are various kinds such as Miyazaki and Shizuoka. 【If it was helpful, please press like 👍!】
