One of the best Japanese curry chain in Japan for sure, only in Tokyo as far as I know ! This is the original store, don’t hesitate to try it out :)

We found this place randomly back in January for a quick lunch and I still think about the Pork Katsu Curry to this day. The best curry I’ve ever had. The chef was nice and efficient. Will definitely come back next time we visit Japan again.

A curry with a nostalgic taste that recalls the curry served in Showa-era coffee shops. The standard katsu curry still costs under 1000円 these days, with a generous portion that makes it good value. Cash only (meal ticket system). When I visited a little late on a weekday, there were only 2 customers at the counter and the restaurant was very quiet, but the kitchen looked busy, apparently with lots of food-delivery orders.

Tantanmen fans should try this too. I went because I heard you could get ramen at a curry restaurant, and it blew me away. I was imagining something like curry noodles, but... An unexpected tantanmen-like approach??👀 Chashu instead of minced meat Sansho The heat of curry spices instead of chili oil Menma instead of zha cai The broth seemed pretty good too, but I was so surprised that I kept eating and finished it in no time. “Huh? Huh?” My brain couldn't keep up at first. Once I interpreted it as curry tantanmen in my head, it suddenly felt like everything came into focus. Curry tantanmen?? I don't know if such a genre exists, but ramen at a curry restaurant was surprising enough, so I was surprised twice. The size and amount of soup felt just right too. I'd have it again💯
