Came across this place while walking around looking for dinner. Wow, what a lovely gem of a place. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Had tempura with soba noodles, oh and sake! All fresh and tasty, definitely give this place a try.

There are also a lot of delicious "Hegi soba" Niigata sake. My favorite store. You can order "Tenkasu" and "Sobayu" for free. Recommended together with soba.

Quick and friendly service, would definitely come back. I got the tempura bowl set, which came with soba, hijiki, and pickles. The squid was soft and flavorful, the vegetables were perfectly done, and the portion size was just right.

Tempora rice bowl and soba with duck slices were very good; the sake probably helped! Very friendly to gaijin, at least the customers sitting by us were.
