This is run by a nice old couple. The sweets are old fashion but so good and refreshing Japanese style confectionery. It is easy to find and just near the Kasuga train station but about 5 minutes walk. They also have ramen and other food that all witn reasonable prices. A place to visit when you come by Kasuga.

Delightful traditional cake shop which also serves lunch. Has a long history including home-made ice-cream. It is tucked away at the bottom of Kikuzaka (not far from the Beagle Bus bus stop) and easy to walk by without noticing. However, it is is this kind of shop that would be a tragedy to lose. Purchased fresh Mame daifuku (豆大福) which were delicious.

It is near Kasuga Station on the Oedo Line. It is run by an elderly couple, and I stopped by during a break from my home-care work❣ They sell Japanese sweets at the front of the shop at reasonable prices✨ For dining inside, there are all sorts of options, from set meals to ramen and sweet treats❣ Many people visiting Tokyo Dome or touring historic sites come here. Because of my work, I need to eat a substantial meal to keep my energy up, so I had 2 large bowls of rice🤭

Old-fashioned 中華そば. The mochi was very delicious, and みたらし団子 is something I definitely want you to try. It is less sweet than the みたらし団子 usually sold. Not overly sweet, and truly delicious. It is the kind of place I would love you to stop by when you have time. Since everything is made one by one, people short on time might feel rushed.
