A Chinese restaurant seemingly buried inside a parking lot. It's known for its chashu umani rice (1050円). Indeed, the fragrant roast pork, plentiful vegetables, and thick sauce make for a very satisfying dish. The egg soup has just the right saltiness too. The location is interesting and the food is genuinely good, so please stop by when visiting Suidobashi.
View on GoogleI came to a Chinese restaurant near Tokyo Dome to have delicious “Taiwanese fried rice vermicelli” for the first time in ages ❗️ The place is called “Hongo Rantei.” Has it been 5~6 years since my last visit? I used to eat here often because of work. I ordered “fried rice vermicelli” and... beer in broad daylight 🍺💕 On a hot day like yesterday, it's essential 👍️👍️👍️ Did they give me a little extra? The portion was larger than usual ❗️ Much appreciated‼️ Much appreciated‼️ Mmm~😆😆😆 The flavor is stronger than the “fried rice vermicelli” at other places~😋😋😋 And the saltiness goes perfectly with beer ❗️ That subtle balance of salt makes me hum in appreciation ❗️ That day, apart from me... there was nobody in the restaurant 😅😅😅 So without worrying about COVID 😄😄😄 I could eat and drink at ease ⤴️⤴️⤴️ I also had a lively conversation about Taiwanese food with the Chinese lady at the restaurant, and spent a pretty enjoyable lunchtime ⤴️
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant that's inside a parking lot for some reason. The fried rice is delicious! The chashu in the fried rice is incredibly good.
View on GoogleLots of dishes to choose from (with prices to match), and the food tastes good. The place is small. Also, there's a bit of a wait. Might be tough if you're in a hurry...
View on GoogleThe menu said chashu umani rice was 950円, but I was charged 1030円 at checkout. It wasn't stated anywhere, but apparently the displayed price excluded tax. The lady on staff mumbled something about taxes. The interior is very cramped; I think about 10 people would fill it. It was so tight that I had to move the table and other chairs to sit down. The person eating beside me was also much too close, making it uncomfortable. The taste is ordinary. But for that flavor at that price, I think it's too expensive. I was a little disappointed, so two stars.
