Very nice place. I am often going there for lunch to get the kimchi fried rice and the banchans.

Great food. But the owner is the only person working so it could take some time for your food to be ready.

@camyu.kr ← My usual posts♡ 🥘𓂅 《 Tokyo / Yushima♡ 》 ⁡ ⁡ 𖤘 #チゲマウル #찌개마울 ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ ⁡ ⁡ 𓐐 A seriously hidden-gem Korean restaurant in Yushima ⁡ ⁡ ________ What we ate… ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ・Bossam 2,500円 ・Budae jjigae 1,180円 (minimum 2 servings) ・Mildly spicy perilla leaf jeon 1,280円 ・Cheese corn butter 980円 ⁡ ⁡ And alcoholic drinks◎ ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ * ⁡ ⁡ I'd been curious for quite a while and finally visited! As the name Jjigae Maul suggests, budae jjigae is the main attraction. They also seem to recommend samgyeopsal◎ So this time, we centered our meal on budae jjigae and tried various dishes☺️ ⁡ ⁡ Bossam before the budae jjigae! It comes plated with 3 kinds of kimchi. This kimchi isn't spicy at all, so even people who dislike spicy food should enjoy it◎ The style here is to dip the meat in sesame oil × salt sauce and eat it with kimchi🤞! It was delicious◎ ⁡ ⁡ Then the budae jjigae! It starts with pouring in the broth! Close the lid and wait. (Just like Korea, so exciting〜♡) After simmering a while, open the lid to a red broth👏 While it simmers, break up the restaurant's special beef meatball and simmer some more🥘♡ ⁡ The meat and vegetables release their flavors, making it a little different from your usual junky budae jjigae, and delicious😌 ⁡ ⁡ We also ordered perilla jeon as a side and asked for it a little less spicy, but it still had just the right kick and a lovely perilla aroma◎ The corn cheese goes without saying🌽 haha ⁡ The lady running the restaurant is lovely too, and it felt comfortable, so give it a visit if you're curious🙃✨ ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ 𖠱 Points ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ☑︎ A restaurant specializing in budae jjigae! ☑︎ A seriously hidden-gem Korean restaurant despite being near the station! ☑︎ Excellent access from various stations, including Yushima and Ueno-hirokoji…! ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ Thanks for the meal〜𓌉◯𓇋

The budae jjigae has a refined, light flavor. It's not very spicy. The tteokbokki is spicier. Even so, it's about half as spicy as Shin Ramyun. There's also a tatami seating area in the back, making it a place where families can enjoy a delicious meal.
