Nice cafè with retro atmosphere and delicious cakes
View on GoogleA wonderful place to enjoy a healthy, balanced selection of vegetable, fish, and meat dishes. Everything is delicious, and the value is incredibly good 😃 I would like to return when I am nearby to work my way through the other menu items.
View on GoogleAfter several failed attempts because it was full, closed, or I had no cash, I finally got in without any trouble 😅 The ステーキ丼 (¥1300) was delicious ^_^ A large serving of five-grain rice is free, and coffee or green tea is complimentary too. The steak was on the rare side and so satisfying that even the large rice portion did not seem enough ✨ The interior has a Bordeaux-colored door with light-green trim accents. The Junichi Nakahara illustrations are lovely too ✨ Many customers seemed cultured, and almost all were women. The entrance is quiet and inconspicuous, but the place is popular enough for people to line up outside. 【If this helped, give it a Like 👍!】
View on GoogleI visited before 13 on a weekday and ordered today's meal (1100円). That day it was sautéed redfish. Small portions of various side dishes were arranged on an interesting gourd-shaped plate. Stylish, quintessential café food! The main sautéed redfish was crisp-skinned and topped with chopped olives, with an addictive flavor. The other sides were delicious too, and trying all the different flavors was fun! I also appreciated the generous amount of vegetables. With rice, pickles, and even tea after the meal included, 1100円 is good value. It looks like a tiny café from outside, but opening the door revealed around 10 tables for two. My arrival briefly filled the place, but turnover seemed fairly quick, perhaps because many customers were on lunch breaks from nearby offices. I saw some reviews criticizing the service, but I liked its straightforward, tidy manner. I would definitely like to return.
View on GoogleThere were around 10 tables seating 2. Most customers were dining alone, and it felt welcoming to anyone, regardless of age or gender. There were actually customers ranging from their teens to around their 70s, and although only a few, there were male customers too! It gets fairly crowded at lunchtime, but starts clearing out around 14.
