This is the best curry I have ever tasted. I was a traveller and lived nearby, every time I passed around the corner I could smell very nice curry aroma. So I decided to try it tonight. Actually I’m not so hungry when I entered Baidam, but as I started eating the chicken baht dal, which from the selection of plain rice and multi-grain rice I chose multi-grain rice, it is sooooo appetizing and I finished the full set. The curry has such a nice taste from a good mix of spice. The owner of the restaurant is very nice, my husband and I are warmly served. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone.

This Nepalese restaurant near 湯島站 Yushima Station is amazing! The owner is super friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent service. We ordered the two Chicken Curry Set, which came with barley rice, lentil soup, vegetables, and crispy papad. The curry was rich and flavorful but not spicy, and it paired perfectly with the rice. The prices are very reasonable — definitely great value for money! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Ueno or Suehirocho area!

I was intrigued by the positive reviews, and decided to try it. My experience here was very good, although I only tried out the shorter lunch menu. The food was tasty and rich in flavour. The spicy tea was very good, too. The host was very welcoming and warm, and that certainly increased the joy of the dining experience. I would like to recommend this restaurant as a good place to enjoy a meal.

Cozy Nepalese restaurant with inviting and friendly staff. We ordered aloo jeera (potatoes with cumin) to start which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately they only had meat based momos so I had to pass but the vegetable platter was tasty (with free refills on the lentil soup and rice). I wish there was more of the spinach on the plate but was quite satisfied by the veggie curry and lentil soup that came on the platter.
