A bar located a 2-minute walk from "Nezu Station" on the Chiyoda Line, where you can enjoy pho as a closing dish. We were featured in the "Otona no Shuumatsu May 2025 Issue"!! There are counter and table seats, and first-timers or those coming alone are very welcome! We also offer seasonal vegetable dishes that go well with wine, Japanese sake, shochu, etc., as well as fish and meat depending on stock availability. Our signature closing pho is made with a broth slowly simmered from chicken bones, pork bones, and kelp. And lunch is not just pho! We have prepared a spirited dish that we want you to taste at least once. The location is also a 6-minute walk from the "Ikenohata Gate" of Ueno Zoo. We are waiting for you.

a wonderfully welcoming place with excellent Viet food (rare in Japan, weirdly enough) and a cozy atmosphere. the manager (Babu) and Honoka are warm-hearted and gracious. the pho is particularly good: it features a rich, luxurious broth that puts it somewhere between traditional viet pho and a light ramen broth. everything is made fresh and to-order. a number of unique vietnamese drinks (333 beer and Nep Moi vodka) are also available. prices are extremely fair. worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Babu-Bal is a cozy Vietnamese restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The menu is in Japanese but the chef speaks English so we did not have a problem ordering. We enjoyed grilled chicken and Banh Xeo. Reasonably priced.

Good place for a Pho-Lunch. The day we visited only one person was working, so one has to wait a bit if it is crowded. Reasonable prices.
