A very retro restaurant. I visited for lunch at midday on a weekday. I don't remember the exact price, but I had sirloin steak for around 1200円. It wasn't that thick, but the pear sauce was delicious.

Running on inertia. Ingredient cost ratio around 15%. Cost-performance mentality. Just old, that's all. No motivation. I was disappointed. It's a mystery what commitment keeps them running this restaurant.

I went around 12, but the daily lunch special was already sold out. It has an old-fashioned atmosphere, with large shared tables. The food was delicious, homey, like something a grandmother would make. Cash only, so keep that in mind. I'd like to go again. Maybe I'll order the Asuka cake next time.

You can enjoy a pleasant Yushima atmosphere that seems frozen in Showa. Only the prices are Reiwa. I had the special-price steak lunch. It comes with pear sauce, and eating it while sensing how hard they probably tried various things to make the meat tender has its own charm. The after-meal coffee was unexpectedly delicious. Maybe they're using good beans.

I passed by after noon and had lunch. The floor staff member was working at the register. They didn't even notice a customer had entered, so I had to call out. The service wasn't particularly bad, but I'd like a little more attentiveness. I ordered the daily lunch special. The main dish was hamburg steak topped with a fried egg, plus a croquette. The hamburg steak sauce resembled that of old-fashioned yoshoku restaurants and felt nostalgic. I thought it was fairly tasty, but the portion was small. A cup of soup, main dish, rice, and coffee for 930円. (As of late May 2020)
