It's an oden restaurant, but it also offers a wide variety of delicious individual dishes that rival the oden. I think it's the perfect place for enjoying drinks at leisure. The omakase course lets you enjoy many different dishes—even the half course is filling. They use seasonal ingredients, so it's lovely to enjoy different creative dishes each time, even when ordering the same course. The oden has a refined broth, and everything is delicious. I always drink every last drop. There aren't many seats, so I recommend booking.

The conclusion: I'll definitely be back Actually, I've been so many times that I'm thinking, huh? Hadn't I posted already??? lol Ueno is convenient, so I come often, but when it comes to flavor, there are only a handful of places I actually want to visit Despite being such an established neighborhood with so many places catering to consumers, its restaurant scene hasn't developed, making it an unusual area in a way Among them, あし柄 ranks high on my personal recommendation list An atmosphere where you can casually drop in, carefully prepared dishes, and an extensive menu. The customers aren't rowdy, and you don't get strange pairs who look like they're on sugar-dating outings, so it's peaceful I've tried various dishes, but personally I order the half course every time. Drinking snacks, sashimi, grilled dishes, fried dishes, palate cleansers, oden, and more are served at the chef's discretion The amount makes you ask, is this really a half course? More than satisfying enough^ ^ Whenever I visit, I order this first without thinking I sometimes add extra dishes afterward, and one of my favorites is squid shiokara. I love the style of topping squid sashimi with frozen squid liver ruibe^ ^ In any case, I'll be back Keep up the good work

At first glance it looked like a regulars' haunt, so I was a little nervous… but once inside, what a lovely atmosphere—a place drink lovers would adore. Menus handwritten on paper and stuck to the walls… absolutely wonderful✨ And you can eat oden even in summer〜!🙌 It's a small place; I saw a counter and tables in the back, but customers were already there. They were very thoughtful, asking, “The appetizer comes with sashimi; can you eat that?” and brought me something else. With my stomach being sensitive at the moment, I was truly grateful😌✨ The oden has a gentle, light flavor, but the ingredients have absorbed it thoroughly, making the seasoning just right, and they're sooo soft💓 Was it called chicken tsukune with pepper? It's exactly that—tsukune with pepper mixed in—but it's an unexpectedly uncommon flavor and delicious〜!✨ The nikujaga was a little more strongly seasoned, making the drinks go down easily〜🍺😋 The big chunks of meat were impressive too, falling apart with juicy, melting fat—fantastic💡 Every other dish was delicious as well✨ Savoring delicious food while enjoying delicious drinks. An irresistible place for people who love drinking like that🍺🍶🍷 The proprietress even saw us outside when we left, which was lovely too💓✨ There's plenty on the menu, so I'd like to return. Thanks for the meal😋🍶

あし柄 in Yushima. It's down a back alley, so it might be a little intimidating for a first-time visitor. I've never ordered from the menu, so today I went with the recommendations again. Everything is truly delicious! I usually drink shochu, but my companion likes highballs, so today we had highballs from a bottle of 竹鶴. Thanks for the meal!

There's a wide variety of dishes, and many I still haven't ordered. Everything is consistently delicious. They also have plenty of sake to pair with the food.
