We went there on a sunny day of spring. The place was very cozy, the pizzas we tried were among the best we have tried in Japan, and the service was quick and gentle. We will definitely come back here again to try other specialties. Price was acceptable for Tokyo’s standards.

Impeccable food. The pizza was made in the brick oven, and it was so fresh and delicious. Made with so much care. Flavors were also amazing. There’s also free salad which was great. The vibe of the whole place is nice. There were many people in for lunch, so it’s definitely a popular place. You can either sit indoors or out in the patio. Somewhat of a hidden gem Italian restaurant in this area of Tokyo.

Visit took place early January 2026. The pizza is really good, akin to real Italian pizza. The pasta was also quite good. Only pizza is authorized for take away. Prices are moderate. The wait staff doesn’t speak Italian or English, so having some knowledge of Japanese would help. My only complaint is the service is somewhat spotty. The waitress didn’t serve correctly and would cross items in front of our face with her arms. The staff needs to train the waitress staff better, but the quality of the food makes up for the shortcomings of the waitress staff. Follow up: On my second visit, the music was so loud I couldn’t hear myself think. Also, the music was soul and R&B, which makes no sense for this establishment. Based upon the scandalous music, I won’t return. Second follow up: The management changed the music….which is now modern Italian. It works well with the food and gives the restaurant an authentic atmosphere. While still somewhat loud, I’ve become a regular. All major credit cards are accepted. Reservations recommended, especially in the summer months.

Amazing Italian pizza restaurant with beautiful outdoor seating. The pizza dough was moist and good texture, tomato and mozzarella cheese were fresh and flavorful. We ordered margherita pizza and calzone, the both were wonderful!

I regularly eat the Margherita D.O.C pizza at Aoi Napoli. The pizza delivers a triple whammy of sublime flavor. The first taste is the sweetness of the Japanese cherry tomatoes. This is followed by the savory flavor of the freshly melted mozzarella cheese and the olive oil drizzled on the pizza. The third wave of flavor is from the wood oven baked crust and flour. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is the exact pizza they are serving in Heaven to Jesus Christ himself. This is a circa US$14 pizza so it's not cheap by Japanese standards. My son eats the regular Margherita which has tomato paste instead of the cherry tomatoes and is around $4 cheaper. But I really would not recommend cutting this corner. The cherry tomatoes elevate the pizza from the sublime to the ridiculous. Eating it literally brings tears to my eyes. Words cannot describe how great this pizza tastes so the only thing you can and must do is go and experience it for yourself. Enjoy!
