This is one of my favorite Taiwanes restaurant. How it looks is very authentic and lots of excitement to open the door. You can order from QR code on the table and drinks are selfservice. I ordered dumplings and cold noodle with fried pork topping. I liked their fresh noodle dipping in sesame sauce and flavorful pork! The cold noodle is limited in the seasonal menue.
View on GoogleThe food is so tasty! For the pork rice bowl (which is divine), you can get a small size, highly recommend so you can fit in more food! The dumplings were such high quality, unlike your typical run of the mill "Chinese" restaurant around Japan. And the daikon mochi cakes were lovely, also.
View on GoogleMy companion and I have both lived in Taiwan, so we were so happy to find such delicious, typical dishes here. (It's surprisingly hard to do in Tokyo!) We got here 10 minutes before the restaurant opened on Sunday morning, and a line quickly formed behind us. We took that as a good sign... and it was true! Everything was great. We enjoyed the sesame noodles, pork rice bowl, steamed dumplings, and green onion pancake. The atmosphere was cute and Instagram worthy if that's what you're into. Will be going back!
View on GoogleReally nice environment. The food menu is thinked for sharing, everything is mostly served separately (rice, appetizers, main dish, etc). You should try the fried chicken! It's really tasty. For foreigners it's an excellent place: there's a QR code in the table for you to scan, which is your table order, and you can see all the dishes in English. You have to order through your phone and you can also pay the bill in the same web page. This method is very convenient if you don't speak any Japanese, since all is done through your phone! Dishes start coming right after you order but take into account that main dishes will take a little longer. Consider that it closes at 8PM!
View on GoogleThe food is fine here, but not worth waiting in big lines that some reviews make it out to be. While some dishes tasted great and authentic (the dumplings), others were not so good, particularly the black bean noodles; I was really let down by that. Perhaps the popularity is due to the wide selection of Taiwanese dishes available because it's not that easy to find so many options in other Taiwanese restaurants. This is a good choice for people who want to try and share a lot of different options!
