Just a good old fashioned place run by an elderly man. He does everything on his own. No complaints.

June 12, 2026 Visited on Friday after 11:30 AM. Although there were a few customers, I was able to sit down immediately. As others commented, the grandpa who was operating before the closure is back to one-man operation, which is amazing. I ordered omurice and it came out without much waiting time with quite agile movements. It came faster than the person who ordered hamburger before. The shop and the taste were full of Showa feeling, which was good. A shop that appeared in the Kodoku no Gourmet manga. When I visited before COVID, the grandpa served the orders slowly, so I thought he had retired due to the closure during COVID, but today, May 20, 2026, after noon, when I passed in front of the shop, it was open. I remember the menu samples were also gone during COVID... Did someone take over... Since I had already eaten lunch, I didn't enter. I want to visit again next time.

It's been a while since I came, but there is nutrition that can only be obtained from the large pork rice at this shop. Shiitake mushrooms give a good taste.

I ordered golden curry rice. There was a fried egg on the curry rice and it was a very gentle taste. I'm not a regular but the popular golden curry rice♡ Because a regular customer standing in front of this shop called out to me and said golden curry rice is recommended! I ordered it honestly, and it was really delicious and became a happy time☺️

Since it had been closed for 4-5 years, I thought it had gone out of business, but since customers were coming out, I knew it was still open and entered. As soon as I entered, I was stared at by regular customers (?), and although I sat down, no one came out for about 10 minutes... There was no menu on the table, and looking at the list pasted on the wall a little far away was hard for my astigmatism; Since there was no sign of anyone coming out, when I thought about going home, the owner appeared carrying food. When he returned, he said "If you have decided, I will listen", so I ordered hamburger curry. He went straight to the kitchen, and 30 minutes passed without being given water. It seems he works alone, and payment is also handled by the owner. If the water was self-service, I would do it myself but... the glasses are inside the counter so I can't; 45 minutes after entering, 35 minutes after ordering. Finally, the hamburger curry came out. Since he works alone, I brought the dirty dishes to the counter when paying. I don't mind that, so please make the water self-service (laughs) A shop that is difficult if you don't have leeway in heart and time. My lunch break was 30 minutes late, and I will be scolded by my boss (crying)
