A lovely family restaurant. It was my first Japanese Yakiniku experience and I was very satisfied with it. Beer was cheap. Home-made umeshu soda was delicious 😋 Even though there was no English menu,we ordered with the help of Google translate and my poor Japanese skills. The waitress was very accommodating, she tried her best to communicate and made sure that everything was ok. We also received some unexpected souvenirs ❤️
View on GoogleThey didn't even let us sit in when they had seats open. This place isn't tourist friendly, very disappointing and would not recommend.
View on GoogleFriday 18:00, same-day reservation I wanted to go because Watabe from Unjash had recommended it. The nearby parking was cheap at 200円 for 30 minutes! We ordered a range of things: jo harami, gyutan, jo rosu, karubi, large rice, komutan ramen, and since there was no stone-bowl version of yukhoe bibimbap, we added yukhoe to ishiyaki bibimbap. They happily did it for +400円🙆♀️ Apparently the meat is wagyu The meat itself was just ordinarily good The sauce was not great either The rice was disappointing So the ishiyaki bibimbap was not great either The komutan ramen was delicious. The noodles, broth, and komutan alike. I probably would not return for yakiniku. I would return for the komutan ramen. We were able to take our time. About 1万円 for 3 people, including drinks Watabe's information is not reliable.
View on GoogleThe charcoal-grilled yakiniku in Machiya was really delicious! We received Korean seaweed as a gift! We will enjoy it! I could not photograph everything, but the tan, karubi, and horumon were all delicious!
View on GoogleI needed to entertain business guests around Machiya, so I visited this restaurant featured on Watabe from Unjash's YouTube. The senmai sashimi, jo tan, regular karubi, and jo harami were all delicious. We enjoyed everything right through to the komutan ramen at the end. I wish I had one nearby..
