An inexpensive Chinese restaurant. The entrance is narrow, but the space stretches far back, so there are surprisingly many seats. There's a good selection of half-size dishes to go with drinks. They also serve lunch, though the taste is just so-so. Having a pitcher of tea on the table is nice at lunchtime

Since my intended destination, 「栄楽」, had finished its lunch service, I headed north along the 尾久銀座 shopping street (尾久本町通り) toward the Toden Arakawa Line and decided to try 「朋来亭」 on the right, opposite a pachinko parlor. The weekly lunch specials are reasonably priced at 700円～800円. Today, dishes such as ホイコーロー apparently come with a small cold dish of zha cai and green peas, plus 杏仁豆腐 for dessert. You can also swap the dessert for iced coffee, and apparently order both for an extra 100円. Besides those sets, there's also a noodles, small fried rice＋dessert set, so I ordered the 『タンタン麺 and small fried rice set』 (700円). The タンタン麺 was mild and mellow. I added plenty of the chili oil on the table to make it spicier. The taste was neither good nor bad, just average. The small fried rice was piping hot and surprisingly tasty. The 杏仁豆腐 wasn't too sweet and came in a generous portion. Everything except the shrimp stir-fried in chili sauce lunch (800円) is 700円, so I think the lunch offers good value. ＰａｙＰａｙ was also accepted for payment.

2025.06.14 I had 担々麺 and small fried rice. The 担々麺 had quite a generous amount of noodles. It wasn't spicy, just mild and reasonably tasty. Nothing particularly distinctive, truly ordinary. The fried rice was ordinary too, but this is quite good value for 700円. The smell inside the restaurant might be a little bothersome・・・ I had the 回鍋肉 set＠700. The 回鍋肉 was delicious, with a strong seasoning that really made the white rice go down and a nice crunch to the cabbage. The corn soup was good too, and I think 700円 for all this is quite cheap.
