Since the shop I was aiming for was closed for lunch, I happened to stop by Senjuken which was right in front of me. Ordered fried rice and grilled gyoza. For me, neither was to my taste.

A town Chinese restaurant located on the corner of Seitei Street, going from Ozeki Yokocho in Minowa towards the Olympic retail building. This area was once the site of a waterway leading from Sanyabori to the Otonashi River. The boundary between Taito Ward and Arakawa Ward is at that now-covered waterway. This Senjuken is confusing because it's not in Senju or Minowa, but has the address 'Higashi-Nippori', Arakawa Ward. I entered for the first time after seeing online a fried rice that looked like my preference with a strong downtown Tokyo taste. It turned out Senjuken's fried rice (680 yen) was an egg fried rice with small chopped salty char siu and naruto, and it tasted exactly as I imagined! The most popular menu seems to be the ramen and mini fried rice set (750 yen). December of the 5th year of Reiwa, the end of the year was approaching. I headed to Minowa worried about the closing time because I had to eat Senjuken's fried rice at the end of the year.
