I loved their prime shio ramen it came with two pieces of chashu and two pieces of prime pork. They melted in my mouth. Also the noodles were just right. They were not the firm type but I liked it. It reminded me of traditional Taiwanese “oil noodles “. The soup flavor was just clear type which suited me very well. The staff would collect your ticket while still waiting. And I didn’t know so he graciously let me buy without having to wait from start. Only the sitting was a bit tight since I was sitting right at the corner.
View on GoogleI got there around 18:30 and had about a 20 minute wait. It was entirely worth it. This is easily some of the best ramen I've had in Japan. The noodles seem longer than standard, though that may have been my imagination. The broth is wonderful. The chicken is amazing. Anyone who enjoys ramen as a dish should try to experience this. Plus, as is standard, pitchers is water line the counter. The ramen is served piping hot, so it helps to cool off!
View on GoogleThe ramen here is absolutely amazing! The soup was well balanced, fresh and chewy noodles, and the toppings gave a variety of flavors giving a different experience for each bite.
View on GoogleWell-rounded soy-sauce-based-soup Ramen and the sliced pork topping was impressively flavorful. The noodles they use felt pretty unique and I really liked them. I wasn't impressed with the rice bowl dish, though.
View on Googlequaint little ramen shop in Arakawa with a quirky name—and a reputation that clearly lives up to its Michelin recognition. The interior is intimate and thoughtfully arranged, with counter seating forming a square around the chef, placing the cooking process right at the center of the experience. It creates a focused, almost theatrical setting where every movement in the kitchen becomes part of the meal. I ordered the Tokusei Shoyu Bara Ramen, their take on a classic shoyu bowl elevated with generous portions of pork belly. The broth was bold and expressive—soy-forward with a deep, savory richness that lingers on the palate without becoming overwhelming. Aromatically, it carried a warm, umami-packed fragrance that immediately draws you in. The noodles were firm and well-cooked, offering a satisfying bite that complemented the intensity of the soup. The pork belly was rich and tender, adding both weight and indulgence to the bowl, while the ajitama was well-seasoned, with a balanced savory depth. A focused, high-quality ramen experience—intimate, flavorful, and fully deserving of its acclaim.
