Lovely little hole in the wall Nice guy serves Takoyaki and other takeaway items for really good price. Takoyaki with simple but good, big chunks of used - bit different to the usual
View on GoogleI found it while passing by and only had takoyaki, but it was really good. It was even better than famous places in Tokyo or Tokyo branches of shops from Osaka. The outside wasn't overly crispy, but it wasn't just soft either: the browning and softness were nicely balanced, with a pleasantly gooey center. It had been made ahead, but perhaps that was actually good because it wasn't too hot. It's conveniently near the station, but unfortunately I rarely have reason to visit 南千住.
View on GoogleVisited around 16:30 on a day off in 24.02 I'd been curious for ages and finally made it! The owner was so quiet I thought he might be unfriendly, but after my purchase he gave me a friendly greeting^^ I bought 6 takoyaki for 380円, and the octopus pieces were big and delicious!!! Honestly, I was surprised: they're good enough to make a special trip for. Looking it up, apparently he appears on TV a lot, and somehow you can change the flavor??? I'll visit again and try it!!
View on GoogleIt's already been 2 years since I transferred here from Osaka, but there aren't many flour-based food shops around Tokyo. Just as I was starting to miss having something to snack on, my older brother recommended a delicious takoyaki shop near the company housing where the flavor changes, so I came. A parent and child were already there, and the child taught me the movements for changing the flavor. I was so impressed that I could change it without the owner teaching me that I got excited along with the child (laugh). The change to a stronger flavor is especially easy to notice. According to the owner, he has made the products here, even the takoyaki and drinks, memorize flavor changes. Mysterious. This takoyaki shop has been here twenty years, and his psychic powers? research has gone on for forty years, so he's been at it a long time. Wow. Maybe since Uri Geller visited Japan and started the psychic powers craze. As someone from Osaka, getting delicious takoyaki and enjoying the flavor changes was two birds with one stone and lots of fun✨ I'll be back✌
View on GoogleSo, “the flavor changes through thought waves.” I knew nothing about that; I happened to find it while out walking and bought takoyaki to take home. I ordered the mochi-filled version and was very happy with both the taste and price. It's nearby, so I'd like to go again. 2024/05/05(Sun)
