Had the daily lunch at 「ポレポレ」 near あらかわ遊園. Today's set was pork fillet cutlet and fried squid. The main fried items had a light coating, and both the meat and squid were tender, showing the care put into the cooking. What surprised me most was the number of small side dishes. It was lovely to try a little of everything, including chilled tofu, hijiki, and macaroni salad. Along with the generously filled tonjiru, it made for a very satisfying lunch. I'd like to stop by again when I want a substantial meal in a calm setting. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleThe tonkatsu is delicious. 1,180円. The accompanying tonjiru is also very tasty. It's a shame the coating separates from the meat a little too easily, and the large rice portion doesn't change much even for an extra 80円. The taste is good.
View on GoogleWe casually stopped in for a family lunch after visiting あらかわ遊園. We weren't expecting that much, but the tonkatsu was surprisingly better than we'd imagined. The coating was crispy, the meat tender, and it was thoroughly satisfying. The atmosphere was welcoming for families with children, and the staff were courteous. We also appreciated being able to enjoy a relaxed meal after the amusement park. The whole family was satisfied, so we'd like to stop by again when we visit あらかわ遊園.
View on GoogleDropped in around 11 on GW2025 /5/1 for lunch before going to あらかわ遊園. There was no one else inside yet, and they showed us to the very back with our stroller as it was. Lots of menu options, and the lunch menu is very reasonably priced! The portions are huge... Or so I thought, but I surprisingly finished it easily. And it was really delicious! We went in by chance, so finding such delicious food made me feel lucky. It was full by the time we left, so it must be popular locally.
View on GoogleI ordered the tonkatsu and hamburger steak set, but first of all, the tonkatsu coating was thick and uneven, making the texture bad. As for the hamburger steak, it was awful, almost like plain ground meat grilled without anything added. It wasn't at a level worth charging money for. The price isn't exactly low either, so the value was terrible. Given the overall quality, the fact that payment is still cash only these days made me wonder if time had stopped. I went because the Google rating was relatively good, but I was surprised such a complete dud existed. I won't go a 2nd time
