You don't go there for a good coffee or lunch but to enjoy the presence of their cool cat. Prices are cheap.

Both the cat and the toast were huge… I went around 17:00 on a weekday. The interior stretches far back and was surprisingly spacious… There were lots of regulars near the front, but it was surprisingly uncrowded. The proprietress said, "This seat is the warmest~," and showed me to a table for 4 in front of the air conditioner at the very back. I ordered potato salad toast and hot coffee. There was quite a wait. The toast that arrived was big and heavy. The coffee also came in a mug. It was delicious. The proprietress was so cheerful and kind, like a lighthouse, and I was struck by how everyone was smiling. Even though it was my first visit, she treated me like a friend… I could not help smiling too. The cat was cute as well.

A coffee shop I stumbled across and wandered into. Lots of menu photos are posted at the entrance. It has a distinctive Showa-era feel. I ordered the doria set. The doria does not have many fillings, but it is substantial. The white sauce had a delicious homemade taste. The iced coffee included in the set had a strong, punchy bitterness. That was pretty good too. I wish I had a place like this nearby.

This smoking-permitted café on Otakebashi-dori looks rather ominous from the outside, but once inside, it is deep, has plenty of seats, and is clean. The food looked good too, but I had another place I wanted to visit afterward, so I only had coffee. The outlook seems frightening but inside has a depth inside and many tables, amd it’s clean. Foods look good but I have another plan so I just grabbed coffee.

I was staying nearby, so I came for breakfast. Although they had just opened, it seemed you could order things other than the breakfast set, so I had an inexpensive, delicious meal of hamburg steak, rice, and coffee. Unfortunately, I could not meet the cat, who may have been on the 2nd floor. Also, when I came at 9時30分 it was not open, and when I asked, I was told opening time was 10時.
