大阪のおばちゃんObachan
An okonomiyaki restaurant in Nishi-Nippori that has been in business for 26 years. We are run by an 'Osaka no Obachan' (a lady from Osaka) who has inherited the flavors of the first and second generations. In addition to okonomiyaki, monja, yakisoba, and yakiudon, we also offer carefully selected meats such as thick-cut beef tongue, special wagyu kalbi, horumon, and top-grade tripe (kamimino). Our kimchi and chanja are shipped directly from Tsuruhashi, Osaka. Our rich chilled tofu (hiyayakko) has such a deep flavor that once you try it, you won't be able to go back to regular tofu. We also offer a variety of specialty items, including seafood like oysters and scallops. We also accept course meal reservations. We carry Kuro Kirishima, Aka Kirishima, Akane Kirishima, and Torabane Kirishima. 3-minute walk from JR Nishi-Nippori Station, Tokyo Metro Nishi-Nippori Station, Nippori-Toneri Liner...

A place I've been curious about for a while. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the satisfaction level was quite high. It's best to go to this kind of place with a few people and share various dishes.
View on GoogleThe okonomiyaki is of course delicious, but the side menus like salted squid (shiokara) and yakiudon were all super tasty. The 'Obachan-yaki,' an original seafood-based menu item, was also very delicious. It's a fluffy, thick-style okonomiyaki, and since they cook it for you, even beginners can relax. Please be aware that the sound echoes a bit inside the shop because it's right near the elevated tracks. Payment is cash only. Soft drinks start in the 400 yen range, so it's a bit on the pricey side.
View on GoogleI had a year-end party with colleagues at the okonomiyaki restaurant 'Osaka no Obachan' in Nishi-Nippori. This is my second time visiting, and besides the okonomiyaki, there are many delicious items like beef tongue, steak, and scallops, making it very satisfying.
View on GoogleI happened to find it while searching, so I went. Both the monja and okonomiyaki were very delicious. I will go again!
View on GoogleThe service speed is slow, but all the food is delicious and they cook it on the teppan for you. However, since the speed is slow, it's a place to be enjoyed with that in mind.
