I'm travelling from Canada with my friend, and we don't speak much (if any Japanese.) We tried our best and the staff were so helpful. We had never done anything like this before, and they helped and showed us how to make it. We had crab monjayaki and shrimp okonomiyaki, both were absolutely delicious! Thank you for your help and services!

Cheese fondue on the griddle, with a hollowed-out campagne loaf and special cheese fondue sauce. You dip grilled seafood and chorizo into it; it was fantastic! At the end, the campagne and cheese are broken up and mixed with a spatula, then grilled until golden. Irresistible(^^)

The monjayaki is delicious, but do try the harami too~ It is a generous portion, seemingly "more than double" 1 serving at a yakiniku restaurant! It is also tender and delicious, with a sweetish sauce that children would probably love. I was surprised they had separate men's and women's restrooms. I want to go again.

A restaurant with lots of children, offering only tatami seating where both children and groups with more adults can relax. The menu is extensive and certainly feels like something children can enjoy too. The staff are courteous, and it feels clean for an okonomiyaki restaurant. The prices are low and the food is decent, so it is perfect for families. I went with my wife, and we had a fun, delicious meal (although it was a little noisy). Among Machiya's okonomiyaki and monjayaki restaurants, it might be the best in service, price, taste, and especially "clientele" (haha), everything.

It is quite tasty. An exchange student from overseas came to stay with us, and I wanted to take them out for okonomiyaki and monja, but... The student was vegetarian, and this restaurant used bonito dashi, so I could not bring them here. With many people coming from overseas for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, it might be a good idea to have vegan menu options too.
