I had the miso katsu. I was surprised the miso was sweet, but as I kept eating, the crispiness, sweet sauce, and pork fat became addictive. I went thinking it was a tonkatsu shop, but it said 'Chinese', there was sashimi too, and everyone was drinking—an interesting place. I want to go again.

Traditional, old, authentic atmosphere! The best TonKatsu I tried in Japan, made by a small Japanese family. I was fascinated by the tradition hidden in this place; if you're passing through, it's definitely worth a stop! Try everything else too and let the girls give you recommendations

A shitamachi diner a little away from the Ogu Ginza shopping street. Open evenings only. The food has a homestyle flavor that's deeply satisfying. There's a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, but Western-style items like katsu curry are really good.

Ordered the tonkatsu set and katsuni set around 9 p.m.❤️ What I liked The food comes out fast Delicious yet cheap! (the set meals were eight hundred yen) Glad they're open late (they said it's OK until 10 p.m.) Downsides It smells of cigarettes Lots of regulars, so newcomers feel a bit out of place It was delicious, but I wish I could've eaten in a slightly calmer setting.
