A lovely bakery with several tables inside if you want to eat in. The breads & pastries looked delicious. They also have cute limited breads but was already sold out when we went. We got the Higurashi Loaf Bread, Salt Butter Roll & Rich Matcha Cream Donut. It was really good. I especially loved the Matcha Donut. Would love to try their other products next time.

This bakery offers a variety of sweet and savoury pastries, like croissants, cinnamon rolls, tarts, quiche, sandwiches, curry buns, doughnuts... They have many seasonal items so you can always find something new. They are really creative. We tried the black sesame doughnut with hojicha cream and mochi filling. The coffee tastes really good. The ambience is cozy and inviting with many seating options, including 2 sofas upstairs and a dog-friendly terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had breakfast at Higurashi Garden, and it was honestly one of the breakfast highlights of our trip. The pastries we tried were outstanding—fresh and flavourful, and clearly made with so much care. The matcha and coffee were both delicious and the perfect way to start our morning. We also noticed (and agree with others) that the quality of the ingredients really stands out, and everything is beautifully presented. It has this calm, tucked-away feel that makes you slow down and enjoy it. Such a charming little gem— I’d definitely go back.

Tucked snugly within a residential area, this bakery draws crowds for good reason. Enjoy the weather and watch life go by while tasting delicious bread that stays warm and toasty due to the fast turnover of bread. The vienna sausage and croissant were fantastic and the melon pan contained a nice caramel center (although with it being so sweet it could and should be saved for dessert). Drinks were decent and staff were kind enough to top up my tea with hot water. Will definitely be back!

Very good (and popular!) bakery and bookshop with communal feel, plenty of space to seat, both indoor and in the coutyard, and delicious bakes! The bookstore keeper is such a lovely lady, she absolutely made my day! If you are a fan of Chiaki Ida's artwork, don't miss the special colab event taking place there this month (May)!!!
